Refer a Friend - Terms & Conditions

By entering this promotion, the participant understands and agrees that they will be legally bound by these promotional terms and conditions as well as the terms and conditions governing the use of Mobile Money Guyana Inc. (mmg).
It will be at mmg’s sole discretion as to whether all eligibility requirements have or have not been met by the participant and mmg may require evidence or confirmation from participants.
For this promotion, to be eligible, participants must either be an existing mmg subscriber or would have received a referral directly or indirectly from an mmg subscriber. Additionally, participants may include employees of the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Co. Ltd and mmg but shall exclude all authorized agents of mmg.
Once the participant is an existing mmg subscriber (‘the referrer’) and shares their mmg referral code link to a person who is not a mmg sbscriber (‘the referee’) and the referee successfully registers for mmg and thus becomes an mmg subscriber, both the referrer and referee shall receive $500.00 in their mmg wallet.
This promotion shall commence on the 15th day of March, 2024 and shall conclude at 23:59hrs on31st day of Dec, 2024 (‘the Period’). mmg shall have the sole option to extend past the conclusion date, or discontinue this promotion prior to the conclusion date.
Customers can participate in this Promotion as a referrer or referee until the Promotion is terminated and/or modified by mmg, at its sole discretion thereof.
To be eligible to earn rewards through the mmg Refer-A-Friend Program, each referrer must have a valid and approved mmg subscriber account at the time of participation, and there must be an approval of a newly referred subscriber account.
A referrer may refer a referee by sending them an email, text, or social post or any other digital communication channel of their choice that includes a link (provided solely by mmg) to participate in the mmg Program.
mmg reserves the right to limit, cancel, delay, or revoke a reward if mmg determines, in its sole discretion, that an eligible Participant has violated these Terms, or the mmg terms and conditions, or has acted in a fraudulent, illegal and/or abusive manner.
mmg reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and at its sole discretion. In such an event, notice will be given via mmg’s website or otherwise and will be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications. As such, the participant should check mmg’s website regularly for any changes and/or updates.
Personal data may be collected by mmg and will be processed and protected in accordance with the relevant privacy policy.
To the extent permitted by law, mmg excludes all liability for loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any participant under this Promotion including, but not limited to unearned rewards.
The terms and conditions, the Promotion and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of Guyana and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Guyana.
