How does the Refer a Friend promotion work?

As an existing MMG subscriber, you share your referral code with someone who doesn’t yet have an MMG account. When they register with MMG using your code during the promotion and their registration is confirmed, both you and your friend can earn $1,000 each.

When does the promotion run?

It starts at 00:00 hrs on 1 August 2026 and ends at 23:59 hrs on 31 August 2026. MMG may choose to extend the promotion or end it early at its discretion, so it’s best to refer your friends sooner rather than later.

Who is eligible to take part?

To take part you must:

▪  Be 18 years of age or older;

▪  Be an existing MMG subscriber; and

▪  Make your referral through your own MMG account.

The person you refer must be a new MMG user who registers using your referral code during the promotional period. Please note that MMG employees, directors, officers, agents, contractors and their immediate family members may not be eligible.

How much can I earn?

For each friend who successfully registers using your referral code and whose registration is verified, you earn $1,000 and your friend also earns $1,000. (See the note on currency below.)

How do I refer a friend?

Share your personal MMG referral code from the MMG app with your friend and ask them to enter it when they register for MMG. Your friend should complete their registration during the promotional period so that the referral qualifies. If you’re not sure where to find your referral code, our customer service team can point you in the right direction.

What does my friend need to do?

Your friend needs to be a new MMG user and must register with MMG using your referral code between 1 and 31 August 2026. Only registrations that are fully completed and verified will qualify.

Which referrals will not qualify?

A referral will not qualify if the registration or related transaction is:

▪  Cancelled, refunded or reversed;

▪  Disputed, fraudulent or duplicated; or

▪  Otherwise found to be invalid.

Only successfully completed and verified registrations count toward the promotion.

What if my friend registers after 31 August?

Unfortunately, if your friend registers after the promotional period ends, that referral will not qualify for the reward. Be sure your friends sign up before the promotion closes.

How will I know if my referral has qualified?

If you are selected as eligible, you will receive an SMS with confirmation that your bonus was added to your MMG wallet.

When and how will I receive my $1,000?

Once your referral is verified, you will receive your reward by the next business day. If you’d like an update on timing, please contact our customer service team, who can advise based on your account.

Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer?

For details on how many referrals you can make and any limits that may apply, please contact MMG customer service. Every referral must still meet all the eligibility conditions to qualify.

How is my personal information used?

Any personal data you provide is collected, processed and protected in line with MMG’s Privacy Policy. By taking part in the promotion, you agree to your data being used for purposes related to it.

1. By entering this promotion, the participant understands and agrees that they will be legally
   bound by these promotional terms and conditions as well as the terms and conditions
   governing the use of Mobile Money Guyana Inc. (MMG).
2. MMG shall have the sole right to determine participant eligibility and may require proof of
   age, identity, or eligibility at any time.
3. This Promotion is open to participants aged 18 or older. This promotion shall only be
   applicable to pre-existing MMG subscribers who conduct a referral via their MMG account to
   new users who register with MMG pursuant to receiving the referral code during the
   Promotional Period.
4. Only successfully completed and verified transactions shall qualify for promotional entry.
   Transactions that are cancelled, refunded, reversed, disputed, fraudulent, duplicated, or
   otherwise deemed invalid shall not qualify.
5. In addition to Clause 3 and subject to Clause 2, the Participant understands and agrees that
   a referral will only qualify for eligibility under this Promotion if the person referred registers
   with MMG during the Promotional Period. For the avoidance of doubt, if a Participant refers
   a friend and that friend registers after the Promotional Period has ended, the Participant shall
   not be eligible for any reward, benefit, or entry under this Promotion in respect of that referral.
6. Pursuant to Clause 2 hereof, if the participant is eligible, as solely determined by MMG, the
   selected participants and newly registered user will be eligible to earn one thousand dollars
   ($1000.00) for each successful, verified registration.
7. The winner will be notified by SMS, telephone, or any other communication method deemed
   appropriate by MMG. The selected winner must respond and confirm acceptance of the prize
   within three (3) calendar days of such notification. Failure to respond within the prescribed period
   shall result in the forfeiture of the prize, and MMG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select
   an alternate winner without any further obligation or liability to the original winner.
8. This promotion shall commence at 00:00hrs on the 1
   st day of August 2026 and shall
   conclude at 23:59hrs on the 31st day of August 2026 (the Period’). MMG shall have the sole
   option to extend and/or end this promotion before the expiration of the Period.
9. MMG reserves the right to amend these promotional terms and conditions at any time and at
   its sole discretion. In such an event, notice will be given via MMG’s website or otherwise and
   will be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications. As such, the
   participant should check MMG’s website regularly for any changes and/or updates.
10. Personal data may be collected by MMG and will be processed and protected in accordance
    with the relevant Privacy Policy. By participating, the participant agrees to the collection and
    use of their data for purposes related to this promotion.
11. To the extent permitted by law, MMG excludes all liability for loss, damage or injury of any
    nature howsoever caused, sustained by any participant under this Promotion.
12. The terms and conditions, the Promotion and any dispute arising out of or in connection with
    them shall be governed by the laws of Guyana and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
    of Guyana.
